Northern Territory is a vast region in the north central part of Australia. Darwin is the smallest capital city with just over 100,000 people. Northern Territory is not a state per se and bears many unique characteristics as a territory. Probably the most notable landmark is Uluru, commonly known as Ayers Rock, which is an enormous red sandstone formation which stands over 1,100 feet high.
The Northern Territory team is led by John & Carmen Baynes. The Bayneses work with indigenous Australians, mostly of the Walpiri tribe. John travels great distances to reach the various ministry points in his area.
